Asphaltene Precipitation and Deposition — Multiphase Dynamic Simulation Software
Lead Developer · MSc Project
Host Sharif University of Technology · Dept. of Chemical & Petroleum Engineering

Developed a simulation software for predicting asphaltene deposition thickness on wellbore walls across varying flow and thermodynamic conditions. Phase behaviour of crude oil systems containing asphaltene was modelled using the PC-SAFT equation of state to generate accurate phase diagrams. The core engine couples a 1-D mechanistic multiphase flow model for pipes and wellbores with a 1-D advection–diffusion framework accounting for precipitation, aggregation, deposition, and shear removal.
